Dr. Evanson Raphael M.D. Phd F.R.C.P.C was born in Antigua in 1937 and attended medical school in Kingstown, Jamaica. Upon graduation he was accepted to McGill University in Montreal Canada to obtain his degree in internal medicine and his PHD in Nephrology. Upon securing his first job post-grad in 1968, he celebrated by visiting the local Porsche dealer and hand-picked every option including the rare Bahama yellow paint on his 911T. He paid cash for the car and was happy to pickup the car a year when it arrived a later with his wife Danielle, a Montreal native. Raphael’s 911 was the only 911 sold in Montreal in 1969. After working in the medical field Montreal for many years he returned home to Antigua in 1970, shipping his beloved daily driver 911 with him. A year later he moved back to Canada, again accompanied by his 911 in tow. At 70 years old he returned home to Antigua to work in a local hospital bringing the 911 with him where it would stay until 2022. Raphael currently resides in Antigua and is currently donating his time providing medical support at the St Johns Hospice center in Antigua.
