The Voyage
Seven years ago, while on vacation in Antigua, I drove by an early model yellow Porsche 911 and snapped a photo of the vehicle. Years later I saw the car again and recorded the license plate of the vehicle which, with the help of my friend and local Antiguan, Martha Gilkes, we were able to track down the owner of the vehicle to make contact with him. I drove the car 5 years ago and asked if he’d be willing to sell the vehicle. He insisted it was not for sale so I gave him my card and asked him to call me when he was ready to sell it. Fast forward to a couple months ago and I got a call from Raphael the owner with an offer to sell the car and I took him up on it.
